Physics Teacher Needed

I am a department chair at Burleson High School in Burleson Texas just south of Fort Worth. We are in need of a Physics teacher for Fall 2008 (AP, PreAP, and regular Physics). We are hoping to find a highly qualified teacher for our students. Thank you, Janice Pyles jpyles@burlesonisd.net


Physics / AP Physics Teacher Needed

YES Prep Public Schools in Houston is seeking to fill 1 physics / AP physics position at its Southeast campus for the 2007-2008 school year. YES Prep is the top-rated open-enrollment secondary school in the Houston area and a STEM academy, with a strong focus on interdisciplinary work in math, science, and technology and an emphasis on project-based learning. Candidates must have a Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university, proper certification as required by the State Board for Educator Certification, or at least 24 credit hours in physics or a related field, with 12 hours in upper-level coursework.

Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university. Proper certification as required by State Board for Educator Certification. Technology Education or Science Composite or Physics Certification with six hours required. Completed TEA workshop for beginning Principles of Technology.

Provide students with appropriate learning activities and experiences in the core academic subject area assigned to help them fulfill their potential for intellectual, emotional, physical, and social growth.
