Physics Teacher Needed I am a department chair at Burleson High School in Burleson Texas just south of Fort Worth. We are in need of a Physics teacher for Fall 2008 (AP, PreAP, and regular Physics). Physics / AP Physics Teacher Needed YES Prep Public Schools in Houston is seeking to fill 1 physics / AP physics position at its Southeast campus for the 2007-2008 school year. YES Prep is the top-rated open-enrollment secondary school in the Houston area and a STEM academy, with a strong focus on interdisciplinary work in math, science, and technology and an emphasis on project-based learning. Candidates must have a Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university, proper certification as required by the State Board for Educator Certification, or at least 24 credit hours in physics or a related field, with 12 hours in upper-level coursework. Technology Education or Science Composite or Physics Certification with six hours required. Completed TEA workshop for beginning Principles of Technology.
